A small‑group journey designed for travelers who want connection, comfort, and the freedom to explore without the stress of planning. This 3‑day, 2‑night summer experience takes solo travelers deep into Banff and Jasper National Parks, blending iconic viewpoints with quieter, wide‑open landscapes most visitors never reach. With shared rooms, a friendly group atmosphere, and a guide handling every detail, it’s an easy, welcoming way to explore the Canadian Rockies in June—when the days are long, the lakes are thawed, and the mountains feel alive.

Peaks, Canyons, & the First Big Views
Start the adventure from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff and head straight into the mountains. Ride the Banff Gondola to sweeping alpine panoramas, and stop at Bow Falls, where the Bow River crashes over ancient limestone beneath Mount Rundle, wander lively downtown Banff. Continue to Johnston Canyon for a walk along its catwalks and turquoise pools before heading north to Peyto Lake, one of the most iconic viewpoints on the Icefields Parkway. The day ends with sunset at remote Abraham Lake, where your quiet lakeside lodge becomes home for the next two nights.

Glaciers, Skywalks & Jasper’s Wild Beauty
Travel the legendary Icefields Parkway, stopping at glaciers, cliffs, and high‑alpine valleys along one of the most scenic roads on Earth. Step onto the Athabasca Glacier aboard the Ice Explorer, then look straight into a glacial canyon from the glass‑floored Skywalk Bridge. Continue north to Athabasca Falls, where powerful water carves through narrow canyon walls in a dramatic rush of spray and sound. From there, the journey leads to Pyramid Lake, a peaceful alpine lake framed by its namesake peak—an ideal place for photos and a quiet moment before heading into town. The day wraps up with dinner in downtown Jasper and a relaxed evening drive back under wide, starry skies.

Lake Louise, Moraine Lake & a Scenic Farewell
Begin the final morning with a relaxed drive along the upper Icefields Parkway, stopping at Waterfowl Lakes and Bow Lake—two quiet, glacier‑fed basins framed by towering peaks and early‑summer reflections. Continue south toward the heart of Banff National Park for the grand finale: Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, the Rockies’ most iconic pair. Enjoy unhurried time to walk the shoreline, explore the trails, or simply take in the turquoise water and soaring valley walls. After soaking in these last mountain moments, the journey winds back through Banff and returns to Calgary or the airport, offering one final sweep of scenery before the adventure comes to a close.

Rooms are based on double occupancy with two queen‑size beds, solo travelers are paired with a same‑sex roommate.
Your summer lodge is based on the quieter side of the Rockies.
Set near the shores of Abraham Lake, it offers wide-open landscapes, mountain air, and a sense of space that’s hard to find in busier resort towns.
The lodge is simple, warm, and thoughtfully placed to complement the surrounding wilderness rather than compete with it. In summer, the days are long and bright—ideal for exploring the Icefields Parkway, nearby trails, and alpine viewpoints before returning to a calm, comfortable lodge in the evening.
