AVAILABLE DATES

Day One

You'll be picked up in Calgary and enjoy the scenic drive through the Kananaskis Provincial Park. Here you might be able to spot wildlife such as black elks, rocky mountain sheep, foxes, bears and the list goes on!

By the time you arrive at Lake Minnewanka, you would know so much about the history of Banff National Park and of course we'll add a twist of humour to keep you on your toes! This beautiful lake would be the perfect stretcher for you to enjoy the views of the marina, maybe a walk by the shoreline, a photo by the boat launch ramp, or you can choose to just absorb all of nature's beauty from the comfort of a bench overlooking the lake, your choice.

We'll also would include a stop at the Two Jack Lake lookout just to see how good of a picture your camera can take before we head into the Town of Banff for lunch.

Lunch in Banff

By now you should have worked an appetite, and will be in a bit of a rush to get some local cuisine in you!

You'll have time to enjoy a meal at any of the delicious places in town, we'll of course, will suggest which are our favorite's. If you dare tasting bison, elk, or our flavorful Alberta beef, you're in for a treat!

You will also have time to stroll through the Downtown Banff Avenue and checkout the souvenir shops, or maybe enjoy a walk by the river promenade, or maybe go visit a museum that peaks your interest, or ask one of us what else you could do if the above is not for you. There's always something going on in Banff, we'll let you in on what's happening on that day.

Let's get ready for some action!

You can't come to Banff and at least not try hiking a bit. So, let's get you to Johnston Canyon where you can enjoy a short hike to the lower waterfalls along the trail, or maybe further if you got the roar in you.

This trail is famous not only for its cold waterfall, but also because of its suspended steel catwalks, and viewing platforms. Make sure to bring phone chargers, you don't want to run out of batteries here!

Let's end today on a high note!

Let's pamper you a bit after that hike! We'll take you to high places on a sightseeing chairlift at Mount Norquay where you just might spot bears as you are going up towards the look out. And don't worry, bears can reach you while riding the chairlift!

You'll be at over 7,000 feet above sea level once you reach the lookout point. From here the views are spectacular.

You'll have views of the mountains surrounding the town of Banff, Vermillion Lakes, 360 degrees of nature's paradise putting on a show just for you!

Back to your hotel

After this day filled with excitement, we'll return back to Calgary by around 7:30PM.

If you like to be dropped off in Canmore or Banff at the end of the day we can gladly accommodate your request and we'll also pick you up the following morning at your hotel/stay.

Banff is home to a variety of wildlife, such as grizzly bears, wolves, cougars, wolverines, elks, and more, including over 260 bird species such as bald and golden eagles.

DAY 2 - Turquoise Blue Waters of Banff

Today will be even more amazing than day one!

After being picked up at your hotel/stay, our first stop will be the amazing Lake Louise! This lake is definitely a crowd pleaser, from the views of Victoria Glacier, to the lookouts on the mountains around, to the trail along the lake, and the famous red canoes available for rent, there are plenty of things to do here. You can be sure that this place will stay in your heart and memory for years to come.

The MOST photographed lake in Banff!

Yes, you read it correctly! Our second stop is one of the most photographed areas of Banff, the astonishing Moraine Lake!

Our favourite lake in all the parks in the area, not only offers surreal views, the feeling of just being present in front of such natural beauty will humble even the most demanding requirements anyone can ask for. This area is only accessible from mid June to mid September, make sure to enjoy it!

We will need to spend some time at this incredible place. You could hike to the Rockpile formation in front of the lake for the best possible views. You can also rent a canoe and get in the middle of this amazing lake, or take a stroll all the way to the end of the lake trail. Options are plenty here as well, but one of our favourite things to do here; is to have lunch by the lake far from the main shop.

Glacier Lakes on the Icefields Parkway

You are on a roll exploring the most amazing lakes in the park, so let's keep going!

Next stop is Payto Lake, named after Bill Payto who was both an early pioneer and park warden. This glacier lake can be seen from a lookout above the lake, offering incredible 360 degree views of the lake and the valley. You will have a hard time deciding which view is the best in this stunning and amazing area.

The lookout was just reopened last year after a major upgrade, and it was worth the wait!

This wolf may look like a giant wolf form a distance according to some guests, but we'll let you decide if it's accurate or not.

One more lake for the road!

Our last stop in Banff National Park is   Bow Lake, the area offers views of a tall glacier waterfall in the background, the birth of the Bow River along yet another famous place, the Icefield Parkway. We will take a short walk to the lake side to enjoy the views, you'll feel the frigid water with your hands and find out why not many chose to swim at this lake. By the way, photos from here are worth framing when you get home, specially if you dip your feet in the water, we dare you!

Time to get you home!

We know that has been a full day, plenty of photos, laughs, some even find inspiration for the future or whatever life brings, so now... it's time to call it a day!

But not without doing one last stop in Canmore before we get you to your hotel in Calgary where we'll part ways and wish you come back for another round!

You'll be going home with memories that will last a lifetime, cliche but true.
